Welcome Letter

My 4-year-old son, Sean, had a very rough start to his preschool experience. We tried two preschools unsuccessfully because they did not have the capacity to appreciate individual differences. I was beginning to worry about Sean’s self-esteem and was seeing negative behaviors as a result. Through Limitless, he has been able to grow his confidence, and is being celebrated for exactly who he is. Recently, my husband told Sean, “You are so smart!” In response, Sean said, “I AM so smart!” As a mother, it brings me so much happiness and peace knowing he is in an environment that loves and supports him. I cannot thank Monica and Limitless enough for all they have done for my son so far!

Limitless  2024 Summer Program

July 1st-August 16th

The tradition continues! At Limitless (the original Celebrate the ChildrenⓇ), we pride ourselves on being the founding summer program that eventually became the Celebrate the ChildrenⓇ School. Limitless is the most intensive and innovative summer program for amazing individuals with difficulties in relating and communicating (autism and other special needs) in NJ. In fact, every year we have students attend from all over the world!

While this year, we will maintain the same special needs summer camp we have run for 27 years, we are limiting enrollment to ensure the quality, intensity, and integrity of the program are maintained at the highest level possible. Your child’s development, safety, and happiness are our top priorities!

We will hold monthly online information sessions to present an overview of the program and answer any questions you may have. You may find registration for information sessions and all summer program registration information for you and your school district online at www.limitlessASD.com.

Remember, when it comes to your child’s summer and extended school year program (ESY), you have a choice! Summer should be an intensive intervention program, but not just an extension of the school year. Every child deserves to have the most dynamic summer experience possible and that is what we have provided for decades!

We hope to see you at an information session or please reach out via email with any questions. info@limitlessasd.com

Children with sensory, learning and communication difficulties often possess social deficits. These are due to a lack of connectedness to others, deficits in abstract thinking, problem solving and motor planning/visual-spatial abilities. Often, this is a result in low confidence or Independence and inappropriate behavior in social situations. Typically, these children do not pick up social behavior by mere observation of others. They require skills that need to be developed in an environment where they feel motivated and comfortable enough to interact. Limitless believes that the best way to facilitate socialization in every child is to demonstrate an understanding for the child’s individual differences. We believe in celebrating the child for who they are rather than trying to make them someone else.

We attempt to let each child know we respect them for their interests, encouraging them to feel comfortable with us.Once the child has made a connection with those around them, specific social skills are carefully laid in. Although demands on the child may be increased, respect for their world will never be put second to those demands. Continual enthusiasm for their interests builds a trusting relationship that allows for maximum learning.

Children with disabilities are children first. Therefore, our summer program focuses on having the silly, carefree kind of fun every child should enjoy. It is our experience that this type of environment, saturated with typical peers as models, promotes the best socialization and independence in all children. We hope that your child will be part of our 27th annual summer program. We anticipate a summer experience never to be forgotten!
